El Floridita
In front of the Capitol, in the upper part of Old Havana, you will find the most symbolic of the bars that already existed during the American times in Cuba. In a rococo Art déco style, El Floridita that still keeps its original decoration is considered one of the best seven bars of the world. Hemingway went there every day to drink his famous Daiquirí. The restaurant, with capacity for 60 guests, in a quiet atmosphere that contrasts with the exterior activity, offers a sophisticated Cuban cuisine with an internationalized style: you can have a lobster on a seafood platter served with an etiquette that is somewhat forced but goes well with the fifties style of El Floridita.
